Activities

The main activities of the project are strategy development in school conflict mediation and pilot testing.
Strategy development will take place at head offices of the two partners. The testing strategy activity will take place in seven schools from three different environments: high urban - a general school, a theoretical high school, a vocational-technical high school of arts and crafts; low urban - a general school, a theoretical high school, a vocational-technical high school of arts and crafts; countryside - a general school.

From this point of view the testing of the strategy will take place at the head office of some of the project’s recipients. The locations will be chosen via a school selection methodology, with distinct criteria and will be held in Bucharest, sector 6 and in Dâmbovița county (Cojasca, Bîlciurești and Fântânele towns).

The national research activity will be based in Bucharest and all the regional divisions. Participants’ selection will be done according to a methodology which includes the sociological criteria of research (sampling, representation etc).

The workshops included in the information and publicity activities will be conducted in locations selected for each region and the information seminars for disseminating information will, in turn, take place at the locations of the recipients.

The criteria considered are:
  • Recipients’ access to training and information services – the main concern was for the recipients’ access to information and services to be optimal, and for the project to be conducted, in the most important aspects of it (testing strategy and information), at the location of the direct recipients’ activities.
  • Improving the balance between costs and benefits of the project and the use of existent resources to obtain relevant results.
